I stumbled upon this awesome lil' dealie a few weeks ago and have since gotten many people entertained by it. On the site thisdayinmusic.com, you can find out what song was number one on any day from 1952 (the year the charts started) until the present day. I was having a blast checking out the Syncers' number ones (some are crazy, some are just eerily true) and wanted to show them to you now. (BTW, this is all for humor and nothing more - this doesn't REALLY say anything about anybody, but it's completely fun to laugh about. Don't take anything too seriously - like if you get a not-so-great song as your life theme - okay?)
#1 On The Day Of Birth
The song that's number one on the day you're born is supposedly saying something about the true you - you may not always show it, but it represents you in some way. Check out our guys' birthday #1s:
JC - "Don't Go Breaking My Heart" by Elton John and Kiki Dee (awww)
Joey - "I Wish" by Stevie Wonder" (great song!)
Chris - "Maggie May" by Rod Stewart (yeah, whatever)
Justin - "The Tide Is High" by Blondie (hehe)
Lance - "Reunited" by Peaches and Herb (what?)
#1 On 18th Birthday
This is the more entertaining one, because this song is supposedly the theme song for your life. I swear I didn't make up these (I couldn't have come up with ones as could if I had tried - Justin...) so here's the Syncers' "life themes":
JC - "Stay (I Missed You)" by Lisa Loeb (can't say I know it, but cute)
Joey - "Creep" by TLC (that's just funny...)
Chris - "Miss You Much" by Janet Jackson (only fitting for this fan)
Justin - "Baby One More Time" by Britney Spears (that's a big omg...wow!)
Lance - "Always Be My Baby" by Mariah Carey (big awww!)
